Dr. Miriam Nugent, Dr. Ita Creavin & Dr. Marion Ryan

Dr Marian Ryan MB BCh BAO MICGP,ABFP

Dr Ryan graduated in medicine from the  Royal College of Surgeons in 1989 and commenced specialized training in General practice in Dublin for three years . Following that she  went to the  United States gaining expertise  in Women’s Health, Minor skin procedures and Preventive Health Care. Special Areas of interest include Health Screening for men and women over 40, Depression, Diabetes, Work Stress and Poly pharmacy in the Elderly.  Her Practice Philosophy involves an open and empathetic approach to facilitate each patient to make an informed medical decision about their own health and the health of their families. She is a member of the Irish college of General Practitioners and the American Board of Family Medicine

Dr. Miriam Nugent MB BCH BAO MRCGP

Dr Nugent graduated from University College Cork Medical School in 1991. She trained in General Medicine at Cork University Hospital before moving to the UK to train and work as a GP for 10 years. She has special interests in Womens Health, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Stress/Depression and Prescribing. Dr. Nugent attends conferences and post graduate education courses regularly to keep up to date with the latest medical information. Most recently she has completed a specialised course in Diabetes Care.

Dr. Mark Rowe MB BCH BAO MICGP DPDDCH LFOM (grad. – UCD)

Dr. Rowe has specialist training in General Practice (Family Medicine). In addition he has post graduate diplomas in Dermatology and Paediatrics and is a qualified Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. Mark is a G. P. Trainer for the South Eastern General Practice Training Programme. He attends conferences and post graduate education courses regularly to keep up to date with the latest medical information. He most recently attended Stanford University in USA  as part of their Innovative Leadership in Healthcare Programme. Dr. Rowe is also qualified in Lifestyle Medicine and runs a Lifestyle Medicine health programme with an emphasis on prevention at the Waterford Health Park.  Mark is author of ‘The Mens Health Book’ and his second book ‘ A Prescription for Happiness’ are both available in some bookstores or online . His TEDx talk titled “The Doctor of the Future: Prescribing Lifestyle as Medicine” took place in University College Dublin in December 2017. His health podcast is  In The Doctors Chair. 


Dr. Ciaran Foley
Originally from Dungarvan Dr. Ciaran Foley graduated from UCD in 2013 and completed his general practice training on the Southeast GP Scheme.

His special interests include sports medicine, pre hospital emergency care, and medicine in the developing world. He works as a team doctor with the Waterford Senior Hurling team and is also a team doctor with the South Eastern Mountain Rescue.
